WalkAbout provided our family with a wonderful experience packed with diverse entertainment suitable for both couples and entire families. The hotel's location in the heart of Hollywood Beach meant we were just steps away from the vibrant South Florida beaches. Our kids had a blast exploring the sandy shores, while my wife and I enjoyed soaking up the sun and taking long walks along the coastline. The nearby lively sporting events kept our family engaged and entertained throughout our stay. Whether it was watching beach volleyball tournaments or cheering on local teams, there was always something fun happening nearby. We can't wait to return to this hotel for another unforgettable family getaway.

My kids wished there was a playground or kids' club available at the hotel.

The location here is fantastic and the staff is amazing.

My recent stay at the Walkabout 1 Tower Suite was fantastic. The studio apartment was spacious and comfortable, and the location was perfect. Being just a few feet from the Broadwalk and the beach was a real treat. I also appreciated that the apartment had a kitchenette with a full-size fridge, which was very convenient. Additionally, the tiki bar just outside our door was a great place to relax and enjoy a drink. I would definitely recommend this hotel for its great location and comfortable accommodations.

The room was spotless and huge, with smoke detectors and magnificent views. There were a microwave, coffee and tea making equipment, and a fridge in a handy kitchenette.

The location of this hotel is unbeatable, right on the boardwalk and just steps away from the beautiful beach. You can enjoy the convenience of having great restaurants nearby, making it easy to grab a delicious meal. The staff at this hotel are friendly and helpful, always going above and beyond to ensure a pleasant stay. The rooms are clean and well-maintained, and some even offer amazing views.

Everything was great, no complaints or issues to mention.

Location: the hotel was right by all the other Restaurant, the center of all the crowds / action, and Directly on the boardwalk. I tried some drinks at bar Oasis by the Sea, located 10 minutes walk away. The room with an amazing view. A microwave oven, coffee/tea making facilities and a refrigerator were available too...

The location was superb, right on the beach, and we had easy access to the boardwalk. The room was clean and check-in was smooth. It was convenient that everything could be handled over the phone. We also appreciated the reasonable check-out time.

The room definitely needs some updates. The sheets were old and had stains, and the pillows smelled moldy.

We enjoyed are stay so much we are coming back next month with some friends. Nice to have to tikie bar and the beach just outside your front door. Next best thing to having a house on the beach.

The staff went out of there way to make you feel at home.

Spacious room with kitchenette and kitchenware. Fan and air conditioning available for temperature control. Free parking provided. Luggage handling service and surprise birthday treat. Convenient location with beach access, clean room, and efficient check-in.

The Service and Staff were excellent. Located directly on the beach with no road between the Hotel and Water. At high tide the water is probably less than 75 yards from the your room. I have traveled to many parts of the world and been on many beaches. South Florida beaches are among the best, and the beach in front of the Walkabout, is one of the best in South Florida. Art Deco building with large and private rooms. The staff was very service oriented and friendly. The Walkabout is a hotel that makes you feel special and at home. As a Bonus, this area of Florida, has some of the best and most diverse Entertainment and Restaurants in the U.S. Thank you Sherry and Gina, for a great weekend. We'll be back, asap

Very good location right on the beach, spacious rooms, helpful staff, reasonable check-out time, no need for a car.

Felt very cared for, nothing to complain about.

The beach, the friendly staff and the artsy vibe was great. Charmingly shabby but comfy and spotlessly clean, which is hard to do, considering its so close to the sand. Suite 5 has a wonderful view. Nice Tiki hut bar in the courtyard. This is a place we'll come back to.

Other than the Marriott next door and a dive bar a couple blocks away, there's not a lot of places to eat in the area. Our suite had a kitchen.

The staff here were incredibly friendly and helpful.

We had great value for our money with a spacious and well-equipped studio, comfortable beds, and a fantastic beachfront location. The staff, especially Jeannie and Elvis, were incredibly helpful and accommodating, going above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable.

Breakfast delights could be improved with more variety and options.
